In this two-day workshop, participants will delve into the intersection of precarious immigration status and employment, as well as current immigration policies and ongoing debates. We will analyze the evolving landscape of the labor market and consider the labor movement's and labor unions' role in creating equitable environments for its members while supporting workers from diverse backgrounds across various sectors. Additionally, we will draw insights from successful organizing models that integrate traditional unions with worker-justice organizations.
