This interactive workshop focuses on the legal issues associated with day-to-day employment decisions and actions with an emphasis on practical techniques to address issues in a legally sound manner.

Effective March 16, 2020, the educational programs scheduled to be delivered at our New York City facility will be moved to virtual delivery, where possible, or rescheduled. For those programs that do not lend themselves to a distance-education format, we will postpone them until we receive guidance from the University and public health officials that it is safe to hold those programs in-person. Course

Managers and HR practitioners are frequently exposed to employee issues that may have legal implications for their organizations. This interactive workshop focuses on the legal issues associated with day-to-day employment-related decisions and actions, with an emphasis on how they can be handled in a legally sound manner.

Using case studies, practical examples, and discussion, this workshop enables you to understand an overview of the employment laws.  Relevant laws and their application are presented in the context of problems that most typically arise.

Conflict Resolution in the Workplace

Using your own workplace situations and simulations, participants will learn to diagnose conflict. Learn about the levels of workplace conflict and how to prioritize conflict resolution by frequency and organizational impact.
