Hybrid Executive Master program for HR Professionals

Check your eligibility  Apply now

A flexible 15-month hybrid program for working professionals.

Successful completion of this program results in a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree.

Beginning each May, the EMHRM program consists of a series 2-week asynchronous online courses and three 1-week residencies (July, March, July), providing a balanced learning experience that prioritizes practicality, expertise, and engagement.

Online courses are designed by Cornell faculty and led by both faculty and senior HR practitioners. Students gain personal interaction with faculty through small, seminar-style discussions and online chats while integrating coursework into their schedule at their own pace.

Residential sessions in beautiful Ithaca, NY bring students together for immersive workshop-style learning, collaboration with faculty, peers, and industry leaders, and the chance to further cultivate professional networks.

Throughout the program, students develop a capstone case project and apply learned concepts in real-time to address strategic issues in their organizations, such as business and HR strategy, and the role of HR in organizational change.
