Background and Previous Experience
Huijie Li is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Labor and Human Resources, Renmin University of China. Her research area is mainly in the labor market, poverty, and social security. She participated in several programs aimed at improving: disability accommodations, gender equality and the labor market in businesses in China. She also took part in the study of developing human resource systems at colleges and universities in China. Now she is working on her dissertation, Social Support for Families with Children with Disabilities in China, that focuses on optimizing the social support system to improve the welfare of children with disabilities from a family-centered social policy point of view.
Current Research at ILR School
While at ILR, Huijie Li is conducting a study of the social support systems for children with disabilities in the U.S.A. and China.
