Employers struggle to hire and retain workers almost two years into the pandemic

The pandemic has changed where, how and when we work. With a concerningly low labor pool, managers are desperately trying to retain their current employees. ILR’s Alex Colvin reasons, “As low-wage workers become more aware of other opportunities, they seem to be more likely to move to try and better their situations. People are jumping ship and looking for those better opportunities.”
