Established by the New York State Legislature in 1945, Cornell University’s New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) is guided by a commitment to social and economic justice and to improving the lives of New York’s working people. Consistent with our mission and to honor New York’s workers, the New York at Work report is published annually around Labor Day.
Now in its fifth year, the New York at Work report draws on ILR expertise, research-based data and policy analysis on a broad range of key issues affecting the state’s workers, unions, communities and employers. The report, which includes work from many of our centers, institutes, and outreach programs, is intended to serve as an informative, accessible and relevant resource for policymakers and the public.
