Sign Up To Join the Labor and Employment ADR HUB

The Scheinman ADR HUB, under the direction of co-directors Ellen Gallin Procida and Katrina Nobles, is a destination for arbitrators, mediators, other neutrals, advocates, practitioners, other professionals and students to discuss current issues impacting the field of dispute resolution. By joining the HUB, you will gain access to webinars, roundtable discussions and other valuable resources. The HUB has hosted conversations with leaders in the field including Randi Weingarten, President of the AFT, Jessica Martinez, Co-Executive Director of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health and Martin Scheinman, founder of the Scheinman Institute. Other webinar and roundtable topics have included biases in mediation and arbitration, the organizational ombuds, amplifying the black experience in Labor and Employment Law and ADR, professional journeys and challenges for women in the field, and progressive approaches to ADR practices. Starting in early November 2022 and running through May 2023, the Scheinman Institute Labor and Employment ADR HUB will be hosting a 5-part series in partnership with eCornell. The series will focus on Dispute Resolution and Restorative Practices in Higher Education. Topics will include:

 

1.       Faculty Partnerships, Pedagogy, and Academic Engagement

2.       Direct Student Support/Services/Practices

3.       Staff, Supervision, and Administration

4.       Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Title IX

5.       System-Wide and Organizational Implications
