Susan Woods has worked with unions at the international and local levels to further understanding of diversity and inclusion. The major portion of her professional career was spent at Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations where she focused on education and training for union and workplace practitioners, assisted labor and management with the development of joint processes, and trained negotiators in interest-based bargaining. She is a long-time board member of WNYCOSH, the Western New York Council on Occupational Safety and Health and currently serves as President of the Cornell Adjunct Faculty Association, which represents instructors in this program and is affiliated with NYSUT/AFT.
