Tomisha Hicks

Program Coordinator, Labor and Employment Law

Tomisha joined the Labor and Employment Law Program in 2023 as Program Coordinator. A dedicated public health professional, she brings a strong background in health policy analysis, community engagement, and fostering sustainable partnerships. Committed to driving positive change in public health policy through impactful community initiatives, her previous work has focused on areas of maternal, child, reproductive, and sexual health.

Her most recent position with the Cannabis Equity Center at the CUNY School of Public Health and Health Policy concentrated on the social and economic equity opportunities of NY's Marihuana Regulation and Taxation Act as a way to address the health inequities and disparities in marginalized communities that are a direct result of cannabis prohibition.

Tomisha holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health from The University of Alabama, and a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from CUNY School of Public Health and Health Policy.
