Ben Harper

Harper is a Senior Research Support Specialist at the Cornell ILR Climate Jobs Institute.

Harper researches and analyzes climate policy, the clean energy workforce, and equitable decarbonization measures in various sectors. Before joining CJI, Harper worked with the city of Oakland, California, in the development of its Equitable Climate Action Plan. He also developed climate adaptation plans for the National Parks Service. Harper received his M.A. in Climate and Society from Columbia University and B.A.s in political science and music from the University of California, Berkeley.
