Stephanie Ly

Stephanie Ly is the Deputy Senior Director of AFT’s Organization and Field Services Department. A former teacher and longtime union leader in New Mexico, she served nine years as a local leader with the Rio Rancho School Employees Union and nine years as President of AFT New Mexico. Throughout her 18 years of union leadership, Ly has led organizing campaigns, contract campaigns, legislative efforts, and coalition-building initiatives advancing public education, workers’ rights, and stronger communities across New Mexico.
