Ilana Berger

Ilana Berger is the Director of NY Caring Majority, an organization of older and disabled New Yorkers, home care workers and family caregivers. NYCM organizes to make home care affordable and accessible to all, and to make caregiving jobs living wage jobs. She has worked in local and national community-based organizations for 30 years, organizing for justice on issues including welfare rights, child care, public housing, and bank accountability/foreclosure prevention. She lives in Kingston NY with her 2 daughters and 2 cats.
