Doug Bloch

Doug Bloch has spent thirty years moving between the organizing floor and the policy table — and back again. At the national level, he is a senior advisor to Workshop, an organization dedicated to strengthening workers’ rights. In Northern California, he serves as a strategic advisor to numerous labor unions.

His recent work includes advising the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Jobs on Community Benefit Plans and supporting building and construction trade organizations in expanding market share through strategic campaigns and developer partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Doug led organizing campaigns at multiple unions, focusing on misclassified and subcontracted workers while pushing for stronger legislative protections at every level of government. His core strength: finding paths to bringing unlikely allies to the table and forging agreements that stick.
