Beth Florin

ICS Executive in Residence

Beth Florin has more than 35 years of experience in compensation consulting and executive leadership. Most recently, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Pearl Meyer, where she led the firm’s growth and business strategy, oversaw day-to-day operations, and served on the board of directors. Beth is widely recognized for her expertise in broad-based compensation, total rewards surveys, pay equity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), advising clients on critical workforce and compensation strategies. 

Over her 30-year tenure at Pearl Meyer, Beth held a range of leadership roles, including managing director, strategic and operational leader, CEO, and now board member. During that time, the firm completed a leveraged buyout, secured a minority investment from Main Street Capital, and most recently completed a majority investment with Coalesce Capital. 

Earlier in her career, Beth co-founded Executive Alliance, a compensation consulting firm focused on the technology sector that was acquired by Clark Consulting in 2001, then the parent company of Pearl Meyer. Prior to that, she served as a senior human resource consultant in the High Tech Compensation Practice at William M. Mercer, Incorporated, and held human resources positions at Data General Corporation. 

Beth earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and an MS in Human Resource Management and Research Methodology from Cornell University. She serves on the Cornell ILR Dean’s Advisory Council and is a lifetime member of the Cornell University Council.
