Cristina Santos

Cristina Santos is a co-lead for the Healthcare Justice Committee of UnidosMN, a grassroots immigrant rights organization in Minnesota advancing social, racial, and economic justice. Cristina has trained frontline healthcare workers to meet the healthcare needs of families targeted by unprecedented immigration enforcement. A resident of Minneapolis, she serves her community as an emergency room nurse for the last 16 years, where the profound impact of social determinants of health is painfully clear. Cristina brings ground-level experience to her organizing work, advocating for safe and equitable access to care. She is raising her children to believe in and work toward our collective liberation through speaking truth to power and creating systemic change.
