Jerry D. Wilson

President, Iron Workers District Council of Texas and Mid-South States

Jerry attended Northeast Louisiana University and studied Construction Management from 1983 to 1985. In 1986 he joined the USAF and became an Intelligence Analyst stationed at Ft. Meade, MD.

After he left the military, he became an Ironworker out of Local Union 710 in Monroe, LA. In 1995 he was elected as Business Manager and held that position until 2008. In 2008 he was hired as a District Council Representative by the Texas and Mid-South States DC.

In 2019 he was appointed as a General Organizer for the Iron Workers International and elected as the President of the Texas and Mid-South District Council. He was also appointed as the Labor Co-Chair for IMPACT, the Labor Management group for the Ironworkers and their employers.

Jerry lives in Grapevine Texas, a suburb in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex and has one son, who lives in Oklahoma City.
