Marley Clements

Clements serves as Senior Advisor to General President Brent Booker of LIUNA, where she oversees the Strategic Communications Department and assists in crafting the growth and power building strategies critical to completing LIUNA's march to one million members. In this capacity, Clements has traveled throughout North America with General President Booker and General Secretary-Treasurer Sabitoni to meet members where they are—on job sites, at community activities, at Local Union meetings, and in their living rooms. Clements first came to LIUNA in 2016 working in the Communications Department and returned in 2023 to help leadership re-envision how to engage with members.

Clements is the co-creator and host of VICE’s QAnon: The Search for Q, and the writer/producer of hit documentary Active Measures. After starting her career on Obama’s '08 campaign, Clements worked in various capacities at think tanks and advocacy organizations, including the Brookings Institution and PolicyLink. In 2020 she co-founded Bunker Studios, where she combines her skills in storytelling and production with her expertise in public policy and campaign strategy. In collaboration with Bunker Studios, Clements has worked with LIUNA since her return in 2023 to produce content highlighting member stories, union initiatives, and educational series about the issues that most impact LIUNA members.
