Thomas Tee Jones is an Education Associate with Cornell University’s Labor and Employment Law Program (LEL) in the Extension/Outreach Division, where he supports research-based training and initiatives that advance fair and effective workplace practices. A proud graduate of Cornell’s ILR School, he previously served as the Fair Employment Practice Specialist within Cornell’s Division of Human Resources, contributing to Central HR, the Criminal Justice Employment Initiative, and the Cornell Prison Education Programs.
As a returning citizen, Thomas brings a deep sense of empathy and lived experience to his professional work, shaping his commitment to inclusive hiring and organizational development. His diverse career spans aerospace manufacturing, higher education, commercial transportation and logistics, food service operations, distribution and warehousing, and healthcare services. He specializes in HR technology implementation, eCornell academic facilitation, training and development, and talent acquisition.
Driven by a passion for organizational change and equity, Thomas works to expand opportunities for underrepresented talent and to help employers adopt evidence-based reentry and fair chance hiring practices. His goal is to design impactful, scalable solutions that strengthen business performance while honoring the full value each employee brings to the workplace.
