Pam Gueldner serves as an administrative assistant to faculty and events in the Global Labor and Work Department since February of 2023. She enjoys working with students and staff and helped launch the Employee Fun & Wellness Committee, where we bring people together for events like walks around campus, playing games during lunch, campus tours and more.
Before this job, she was a small business owner and operated Manndible Cafe in Mann Library, from 2008 to 2021.
Gueldner's dog Nebula is a Cornell Companion and they enjoy coming to campus for student events like Popcorn and Pups.
A native of Lancaster, PA, Gueldner went to Boston University to study International Relations and Russian language. During college, she worked as an intern at the Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen in 1991. Here she discovered her passion for cooking, which fueled her desire to open a cafe in Ithaca as a young entrepreneur. Gueldner enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking with her dog, going to see live music, and bringing people together to make connections.
