Jennifer Royer-Barnett, MPA, joined the Yang-Tan Institute as a Project Coordinator in 2021, supporting the New York State Education Department Office of Special Education's Educational Partnership Technical Assistance Partnership for Transition (TAP for Transition) and Technical Assistance Partnership for Data (TAP for Data).
Jennifer has multiple years of experience in project management and coordination, most recently with Concept Systems, Inc. in Ithaca, NY as the Group Concept Mapping Practice Manager and Project Manager. Prior to that, she worked at the Broome County Legislature as a Deputy Clerk. During her 4 years there she became a Notary Public and assisted Broome County legislators and other county department personnel, and she updated the county’s FOIL and gift disclosure programs while she completed a Master of Public Administration degree at Binghamton University.
Jennifer serves at the Co-Lead of The Cornell Disability Colleague Network Group which provides knowledge, resources, and support to staff with disabilities. She is also a member of the YTI Engagement Committee and annually provides a Field Shadowing opportunity to ILR Students.
