Overview
Dr. David Peterson is a seasoned debater, coach, and academic who has been involved with competitive debating for over two decades. He has a wealth of experience as a policy debater, coach, and judge, and has achieved remarkable success in coaching students in international competitions such as the World Schools Debating Championships. In addition to his expertise in competitive debating, David holds a PhD in Sociology and critical theory from UC Irvine. He has also been actively involved in the WSDC community for the past 10 years, serving as a board member from 2018 to 2021. David has coached students to multiple titles including USA National WSDC Champions.
