This case study examines the second wave of sit-in strikes of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT)-Sans piers workers' campaign. For this phase of the campaign four federations and five social justice organizations joined the movement to form the Collective of the 11, negotiating with and signing letter to the government as a block. This broader movement reached out to workers in the informal economy, pushed for more effective and expedient regularization process, and received the support of a range of social actors, including employer associations, celebrities, and left wing political parties. Among the outcomes of this second phase was the coverage of temporary and domestic workers.
