Ithaca High Road
Launched 2025
The Ithaca High Road Program offers ILR students paid, community-engaged internships with local organizations committed to social and environmental justice, diversity and equity, and access and education. Internships take place in Ithaca and surrounding areas during the fall or spring semester.
Students work with their partner organization 5–10 hours per week. Throughout the semester, they attend cohort workshops, and at the end they present at a final showcase for the cohort and partners.
Students may apply to as many Ithaca High Road opportunities as they like. Students who have completed the Buffalo or NYC High Road Programs are still eligible.
Eligibility: Students may participate for one semester only.
- Fall: sophomores, juniors and transfer students
- Spring: sophomores, juniors, transfer students and first-year students
