Rachel Zhang '27 Greater Ithaca Activities Center ITH High Road Fellow Fall '25

Fall 2026 applications open June 22 through July 15th!

The High Road Ithaca Program offers ILR students paid community engaged internships with partner organizations committed to social and environmental justice, access and education in Ithaca and surrounding areas during the fall or spring semesters.

The ILR High Road New York (Ithaca & New York City) initiative is an expansion of the ILR School’s long-standing High Road Buffalo Fellowship Program. The program aims to immerse ILR students in meaningful community engaged experiences and exposure to engaged leadership. Learn more about High Road on our About High Road page.

Students work 5-10 hours a week and participate in critical reflection activities throughout the semester. We encourage students to apply for more than one opportunity.

High Road Ithaca fellowships are not available to seniors. Priority will be given to students who have not participated in other High Road Programs (Buffalo/NYC).

Make an impact as an ILRie in your home away from home and apply to be a High Road Fellow!

Applications open in November for Spring fellowships and June for Fall fellowships.
