Adam Mrozowicki is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University. During his fellowship, he will study the ways in which essential workers cope with interlinked social and economic crises following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Adam holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven, where he wrote his dissertation on workers' life strategies in the new Polish capitalism. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Sociology, University of Wroclaw (Poland), where he heads the Department of Labor Sociology and Economic Sociology. His research has been published in various academic journals, including Sociology, Work, Employment and Society, Transfer: European Review of Labour and Research, British Journal of Sociology, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Employee Relations.
