AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and other prominent leaders from labor, business, advocacy organizations, and academia will discuss the issues and the impact of the imminent bill.

Among the topics that speakers will discuss:

  • Is the proposed reform a step in the right direction for immigrant workers and for the country as a whole?
  • Why have business and labor come together on the need for a policy overhaul?
  • The role of immigrants in the economy
  • The global context for immigration
