Xiaoxian Wang

Xiaoxian Wang’s research interests focus on the topic of labor relations of Chinese multinational enterprises in the Belt and Road Initiative countries. Her research looks at Chinese overseas investment, cross-cultural labor management of Chinese multinational enterprises, and cross-border mobility of Chinese labors. Xiaoxian recently joined the ILR as a visiting fellow. Her PhD dissertation is about survival dilemma and rights protection of Chinese overseas workers. Her dissertation explores the labor issues on Chinese industrial relocation from China’s coastal regions to other countries, the risks faced by Chinese overseas workers for Belt and Road projects and the international and national  protection mechanism associated with the rights of Chinese overseas workers.
