Pauline Jerrentrup

Pauline’s research interests are in enforceable brand agreements and their potential to improve labour standards in global value chains. She is based at the London School of Economics, supervised by Naila Kabeer and Sarah Ashwin. Her research focuses on the Dindigul Agreement (Tamil Nadu, India) and the Lesotho Agreement that aim at ending GBVH in garment factories. Her PhD project aims to support different stakeholders in channelling their efforts to effectively tackle GBVH and other labour right abuses on production sites. Prior to her Ph.D., she developed sustainability strategies as a business consultant for S&Z (Hamburg, Germany) and worked as a research consultant with the LSE and with the ILO. She graduated as top of class from her MSc. in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from LSE and holds a BA in International Business from Maastricht University.
