The CAHRS website offers a variety of content through its Resource Library, found on the “Research and Insights" tab in the ribbon at the top of each page. Be sure to bookmark this page, where you’ll find CAHRS human-resource related material curated under the following Centers of Excellence: CHRO Role/Future Function; Diversity and Inclusion; Employee Engagement; Globalization; HR Analytics/Metrics; HR Business Partner; HR Strategy; Talent Management; and Total Rewards. Resources can be searched by the above-listed categories and/or by resource date or media type.

Benchmarking: Looking to find out what other companies are doing on a particular topic? CAHRS member organizations can request the assistance of five to seven other members in specific areas of interest several times a year, with a deliverable such as this Targeted Benchmarking on Executive/Leadership Assessment Processes. 

News: Are you interested in a quick way to see what’s trending external to your organization? CAHRS offers eNews via its Top 10, highlighting top stories in HR on a monthly basis; the bi-annual hrSpectrum, where you'll find ILR-related material; and the CAHRS Quarterly, providing HR articles representing seven different areas of expertise, such as this recent CAHRS Quarterly Talent Management Winter 2025; 

ResearchBriefs: For summaries of most recent Cornell ILR School HR Studies research, look no further than the ResearchBrief series. Here you’ll find condensed, high-level overviews of research by HRS faculty, covering both research studies published in academic journals, and the most current, completed research yet to be submitted for publication. The Human Capital Resources Emergence Theory: The Role of Social Capital is one of our most recent examples; 

Student Papers: If concisely summarized content from Cornell Master in Industrial and Labor Relations students sounds appealing, consider perusing executive summaries from the "HR Research for Executive Decision Making" course. For example, this article explores in-office culture in “How Does Mandating in-Person Office Attendance Affect Talent Engagement and Diversity?”; 

Videos: Does the idea of curated HR video content appeal to you? If yes, then the CAHRS YouTube Playlist features ILR faculty and HR professionals participating in live discussions about critical HR topics, and allows access archived webcasts on your own schedule. Our very own Beth Flynn-Ferry, CAHRS Executive Director, is featured in “Welcome Aboard: Four Tips for Improving Employee Onboarding”; 

Video Slides: For hard-copy reference, we also publish video slides from CAHRScasts, such as those from the “CAHRS Company Showcase: Aligning HR Technology with Talent Strategy at Workday”;
 
White Papers and Reports: If you’re ready for a deep dive into HR topics, take a look at the in-depth academic papers under the White Papers and Reports Resource, along with student reports from semester-long research on specific topics, such as “The Current State of Performance Management;” 

Working Group Summaries: Would you like to know how other companies in your industry are handling particular HR challenges? CAHRS Working Group Summary Reports summarize sessions where CAHRS HR professionals come together with CAHRS faculty in topical meetings to discuss today's most pressing HR and business issues, and share best practices inside their firms. One example of this deliverable is the “Modern ER/IR: Continuing the Conversation”.
