Course Description
As organizations face rapid change, evolving skill needs, and ongoing uncertainty, HR Business Partners are increasingly expected to help leaders anticipate workforce challenges rather than react to talent issues after they emerge. Strategic Workforce Planning helps organizations align workforce decisions with business priorities while managing risk, uncertainty, changing workforce demands, and evolving talent supply realities.
This course focuses on the HRBP’s role in helping leaders identify workforce priorities, assess talent risks, and evaluate workforce responses aligned to business needs. Using a scenario-based approach, participants examine workforce demand and supply dynamics, talent gaps, intervention trade-offs, and the feasibility of different workforce strategies. Through applied exercises and organizational scenarios, participants strengthen their ability to frame workforce challenges, influence stakeholder decisions, and support more informed hiring, development, resourcing, and workforce investment decisions.
