Course Description
Effective strategy execution depends on aligning talent, workforce, organizational practices, and ways of working to business priorities. HR Business Partners play a critical role in helping leaders make integrated people and organizational decisions that support business performance and organizational effectiveness. This course focuses on the HRBP’s role in aligning HR approaches, organizational practices, and workforce priorities to support business performance and strategy execution.
As the final course in the certificate, HR Strategy integrates learning from Business Strategy, Talent & Leadership, and Strategic Workforce Planning. Participants examine how HR systems, talent practices, organizational structures, and ways of working must work together to support organizational effectiveness and sustained performance. Through applied discussion, organizational examples, and systems thinking, participants explore how HRBPs can diagnose organizational challenges, navigate trade-offs, and influence integrated workforce and talent decisions across the business.
Participants also revisit the CAHRS HRBP Framework to reflect on how the different HRBP capability areas connect and reinforce one another in practice.
