Course Description

Today’s leaders expect HR Business Partners to understand how the business creates value and bring insight into how people, organizational capabilities, and ways of working drive business performance. This course helps HRBPs strengthen their ability to engage credibly in strategic conversations and translate business strategy into workforce and organizational implications.

Using a practical, research-informed approach, participants explore how organizations compete, define customer value, and make strategic trade-offs in dynamic business environments. The course examines core competencies, strategically critical activities, and the roles that create the greatest business impact. Participants also examine how talent systems, organizational capabilities, and ways of working may need to evolve as organizations pursue growth and respond to external change.

Through guided reflection questions and applied discussions that build across sessions, participants connect course concepts directly to their own organizations and strategic challenges.
