In 2021, CJI and partners worked with New Jersey unions to understand climate impacts on workers and develop a union-led climate jobs agenda. Research and collaboration produced a Climate Jobs Plan with fourteen recommendations to reduce emissions, protect and create high-quality union jobs, and advance equity in transportation and waste sectors.
