CJI's New Mass Timber Report Charts a Path Toward Sustainable Construction and Quality Employment

by Matthew Chase

On May 11th, the Climate Jobs Institute (CJI) will host an in-person event celebrating the launch of their new report, Mass Timber: Advancing Sustainable Construction and High-Quality Job Creation. The event will take place at the Downtown Hyatt in Albany, NY from 5:30–8:00pm.

Led by the report's co-authors, Lexi Scanlon and Rohan Palacios, the evening will explore how policymakers can drive quality job creation, advance building decarbonization goals, and accelerate construction in high-need areas including affordable housing, by establishing regional timber supply chains.

The program will feature a presentation on the report's key findings, followed by a panel discussion on the future of the mass timber industry.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP here.
