We'll explore methods for analyzing the current workforce, forecasting future skill needs, and pinpointing critical gaps. The discussion will also highlight tools and technologies that simplify data collection and provide actionable insights into the workforce.

We’ll discuss:

  • Strategy and Current State: How is your company approaching strategic workforce planning? Where have you found success, and what challenges remain in making it effective?
  • Data and Technology: Which data, metrics, and analytics drive your workforce planning efforts? What systems, tools, or technologies have been most helpful, and how do you balance automation with manual work?
  • Planning Horizons and Business Alignment: How far into the future do you typically plan? How do you balance long-term strategy with short-term needs, and how do you partner with the business to anticipate future demand and talent requirements?
  • Outcomes and Impact: What are the intended outcomes of workforce planning? How is the information used in decision-making, and what works well—or could work better—in turning insights into action?
