The talent strategy that had served the company so well for the past 10 years was not what was needed to drive the business strategy forward. So, Workday set out to redefine its talent philosophy and identify consistent, equitable, and scalable talent practices that would drive employee performance, learning, and career advancement. Along the way, they also needed to make decisions about how to best utilize their own HR technology platform to fuel these changes.
