Graduate Students
In addition to the many courses offered at Cornell in New York City and in Ithaca, the Institute engages a number of students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds in research projects with ICS faculty and staff. These students include Ph.D. students, honor thesis senior students, master or undergraduate research assistants.
Honors Thesis Seniors
Students recognized with the ILR Honors Thesis distinction have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and research potential. These honors thesis students developed a research proposal in collaboration with Diane Burton as their ILR faculty advisor, outlining the topic, scope, and methodology of their independent study.

Scholars commit to a focus on preparing for their first job in compensation by taking a specified collection of classes that will support their success, including statistics, accounting, introduction to finance, introductory compensation and executive compensation.
