1ST Bi-Annual International Compensation, Motivation, and Performance Conference (ICoMP)

Held on January 8th & 9th, 2026, at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Seoul, Korea

Overview

The ICoMP (International Compensation, Motivation, and Performance Conference) is a joint initiative organized by three leading universities: Cornell University (USA), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea). This interdisciplinary conference aims to spotlight cutting-edge research on compensation, motivation, and performance—spanning both micro- and macro-level perspectives. Our goal is to foster a scholarly community that bridges disciplines such as organizational behavior, industrial relations, economics, sociology, and strategy and offer a vibrant forum for intellectual exchange.

We welcome high-quality research on any relevant topic in the broad domain of compensation, motivation, and performance—whether theoretical, empirical, or case-based. We strongly encourage contributions from scholars around the world to ensure a diverse, global dialogue. While we emphasize research on the core themes, we are also open to innovative studies in the broader field of rewards.
