Star Yanxin Gao

Star Yanxin Gao is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 15 years of experience leading strategic initiatives, digital transformation, and cross-functional partnerships across academia, global research networks, and nonprofit organizations. At Cornell University, she has held roles spanning research administration, program management, faculty search coordination, and financial operations within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Her work focuses on strengthening organizational effectiveness through data-informed decision making, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.

Since 2015, Star has organized and presented at more than 40 international conferences, symposia, and workshops, and has produced over 60 professional webinars connecting global experts across industry, research, and policy communities. She has convened international collaborators from more than 80 countries to advance knowledge exchange and cross-sector innovation. At Cornell, she has also contributed to graduate education and workforce development through seminar leadership and hands-on instruction in data analytics and decision-support tools.

An International Coaching Federation–certed Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Star is committed to mentoring emerging professionals and developing future leaders. She also serves as Vice Executive Director of @Cloud Marketplace Ministry, leading NextGen internship initiatives and leadership programming that integrate professional development with community impact.
