Professional Work History

For over twenty years I worked as an Associate Court Attorney in the New York State Supreme Court, New York County. In this capacity I assisted self-represented litigants navigate the civil court system and advocate their own cases in matrimonial and other civil litigation cases under the jurisdiction of the court. I served as a court attorney for the Justice of the the New York State Supreme Court, the Honorable Herman Cahn, formerly of the Commercial Division in New York County, where I researched and analyzed issues of civil law and drafted legal opinions for the court.

Dispute Resolution Experience

I have been a contract mediator for the USPS Redress program, where I assisted employees and management resolve disputes arising from internal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints. At the Civil Court of the City of New York, Queens County, I directed a Housing Court Mediation program, for Landlord/Tenant disputes. I was a community mediator at the Crown Heights Community Mediation Center, Brooklyn, New York.
