Christina, or Chris, is an Authorized Trainer-OSHA.

They are a social worker and organizer dedicated to the transformation of labor and the development of dignified, just and safe workplaces. Their training as an OSHA Authorized Trainer for General Industry and Construction has allowed them to go about fulfilling that purpose. 

They have 20 years of work experience - among them: 7 years facilitating OSHA courses in English and Spanish in General Industry and Construction. These complement their interest in transforming conditions and supporting others, shaping through outreach work experiences and working with construction day laborers through community organizations. Chris has collaborated between workers and managers to improve conditions and standards on their work sites, demonstrating their passion for occupational health and safety.

Starting in 2020, they decided to become a member of the Action OSH cooperative and join their team of trainers. Over the years they have acquired skills for the development and management of health and safety programs, actively participating at all levels of the company and in every phase of their projects. 

They have shared their knowledge and motivation to develop Safety Culture through grassroots training and direct support to companies. Currently, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris has led an effort for various sectors informing of the dangers and controls of the virus, and supporting the development and implementation of safety plans. 

In their free time they spend time with their pet and in nature.
