About Cornell's Workshops
Our mission as the Human Capital Development group (HCD) at Cornell University's ILR School is to advance the world of work by offering the most comprehensive portfolio of professional development workshops focused on work and employment. Led by faculty with a unique blend of business and academic experience, we facilitate learning with an emphasis on practical solutions to address challenges facing business and government today.
Each one- to three-day workshop is highly interactive. Curriculum is designed using proven methods that are effective in transferring knowledge and helping adults learn. Workshops may include case studies, lectures, simulations, practice sessions, group interaction, problem analysis, exercises, self-assessment tools, role plays, and educational theater. Class size allows individual attention from the faculty to help ensure your learning needs are met.

Workshops are held in the state-of-the-art conference center located in midtown Manhattan at 16 E. 34th Street. Smart classrooms, distance learning technologies, courtesy computers and food service center are available. Some sessions are also offered in Ithaca, NY and Raleigh-Durham, NC.
