This webinar will examine the issues that workers and communities are facing as New York City undergoes phase 4 of the reopening of its economy. The panel will bring together community and worker advocates, as well as policymakers and experts to discuss the protections needed during reopening, and to evaluate the possible solutions to such needs. Among the questions that the panelists will address: What are the most pressing needs that workers and communities are experiencing in NYC as a result of the COVID crisis? How are safety precautions affecting workers and small businesses? What policies would be most appropriate to protect workers’ rights during this economic crisis?
