Fellowship at Worker Institute
The Worker Institute at Cornell is pleased to announce a new fellowship opportunity for students applying for a Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations (MILR) at Cornell University’s ILR School.
The strike planned by workers at hundreds of Walmart stores nationwide on America’s busiest shopping day has significance on many levels, according to Ken Margolies and Kate Bronfenbrenner of the ILR School.
The Worker Institute at Cornell launched Wednesday in New York. The work will be done through collaboration with unions, worker centers, non-governmental organizations, agencies, foundations and colleagues at other universities and networks promoting labor research and education, according to the Worker Institute.
