Prior experience as a business attorney with over twenty years in private practice following eleven years of in-house corporate employment focused on financial service regulation & insurance law.
Dispute Resolution Experience
Practice as a neutral is principally focused on employment, workplace, commercial and family disputes in court-referred and private cases. Also serve on the following Panels. Certified Mediator for the Dispute Resolution Center, Inc., a New York State Court designated alternate dispute resolution (ADR) center. LICENSES: Admitted Attorney and Bar Member in good standing in New York, Massachusetts, Georgia and Florida.
MEDIATION: $295 per hour with a four hour daily minimum on session days. There is a Cancellation/Postponement charge of six hours unless the notice is received fifteen full days in advance of each scheduled session. The hourly fee does not include incurred expenses as stated below.
ARBITRATION: $1,500 per day for all or any part of each 8-hour hearing day. If the hearing day exceeds eight hours, the additional time will be charged at $295 per hour on a pro rata basis in half-hour increments. The hourly rate also applies to non-hearing time (conferences, study and writing) for pre-hearing and post-hearing matters. The per diem charge applies unless the notice of Cancellation/Postponement is received fifteen full days in advance of each scheduled hearing day. The per diem and hourly fees do not include incurred expenses as stated below.
TRAVEL CHARGES: No travel time or expenses will be charged for mediations and/or arbitrations occurring in NY, NJ, CT and eastern PA. If, however, the scheduled day in any of these locations requires an overnight stay, then there shall be a charge for the actual lodging expenses incurred. For travel to all other locations, the actual travel-related expenses, incurred in connection with the case, shall be charged along with half per diem for travel time for each travel day for an arbitration and a four hour charge for each travel day for a mediation.
