Speech Team finishes the fall strong at Off-Broadway
Cornell Speech members bring nationals qualification total to a wowing 45 events.
To close off the fall semester, Cornell Speech traveled to the Off-Broadway Tournament hosted by Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, on December 6th and 7th. Despite only having seven Cornell Speech members able to attend, the team successfully qualified for an additional 5 events for the April AFA National Speech Tournament in Portland, Oregon. This brings their spring nationals qualification total to 45 events, all accrued during the fall portion of the season. Additionally, Sofia Spillane won the tournament championship in the Program Oral Interpretation category.
