Cornell Speech ends their time in New Jersey with 4 champions

At the SNAFU Charity Ball, Cornell shows speaking skills

Cornell Speech travelled to Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey on November 8th to compete in the SNAFU Charity Ball. At this tournament, 8 students competed across all three genres of competition, advancing 25 events to the final round. The team finished out the weekend with four tournament champions: Sophia Trapani in Informative Speaking, Afsheen Alvi in Communication Analysis, and Anna Cecilia Fierro in both Prose Interpretation and Program Oral Interpretation. The team has now qualified 24 events for the AFA National Speech Tournament and is looking forward to the upcoming District 7 tournament.
