Skinner Speaks at the 2022 WSLC Constitutional Convention

The 2022 Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO (WSLC) Constitutional Convention, which is the state’s largest union organization and represents more than 600 labor organizations and 550,000 rank-and-file members, kicked off on July 19, 2022, in Wenatchee, WA. The July 19-21 event at the Coast Wenatchee Hotel and Convention Center was the first annual WSLC convention held in person since 2019, before the pandemic began.

With hundreds of union delegates from across the state gathered at the 2022 WSLC Convention, Lara Skinner spoke about Labor's role in climate resiliency - building the green energy infrastructure we need and creating more good, union jobs to support our communities. “There is great potential to grow a pro-union climate plan in Washington that addresses the climate crisis at scale & grows and builds the labor movement,” said Lara Skinner. #WSLC2022
