An Interview with Kevin Blake 

 

“About two years ago, my girlfriend and I got into a big argument and I left, I packed my stuff up and left.  I tried to come back a couple of days later and she wouldn’t let me in the house.  She said her kids were afraid and that’s when it hit me, how much I was hurting them.”

“I gained nothing [from being abusive].  I lost good relationships that I’ll never get back.  I can’t think of one thing I gained… [At the time] I was getting what I thought I wanted…I was the boss.  It turns out I was just the opposite.
