The site also includes advice on getting started in a job search, protecting privacy online,and searching inside a web page. GuideStar, produced by Philanthropic Research, Inc. (PRI), is a searchable directory that provides detailed information on more than 1 million nonprofit organizations. The database covers ’IRS-registered 501 nonprofit organizations that may accept tax-deductible contributions’. Profiles cover mission and programs, financials, leaders, and most importantly, full text via PDF of the charity’s IRS 990 filing from 1998 forward in most cases. Form 990 provides information on revenues, expenses, programs, activities, executive salaries and board members. Be aware that information not drawn from the 990 is self-reported by the organization to PRI.     * The Executive Compensation Assessor (ERIXA) Software and Databases - Total compensation analyses for more than 320 top management position titles as defined from over 8,000 companies per year (proxy and 10-K analyses), analyzed by organization size, geographic location and industry.  When used with ERI's Platform Library, one may review actual proxy Summary Compensation Tables.
    * The Geographic Reference Report -  A hardcopy composite summary of Assessor Series databases (as described above).  Salaries for 88 benchmark jobs, COL & salary structures, and demographic data.
